Located in beautiful Fulton County, Johns Creek is an affluent suburb located in northeastern Atlanta. Known for its affluence, cultural value and great education, Johns Creek is one of the most quickly-expanding cities in the region.
Johns Creek recently ranked third in USA Today’s list of the 50 best cities to live in, and for good reason. With some of the lowest poverty rates and the highest concentration of college-educated adults in the nation, Johns Creek has a booming local economy. Before the founding of Johns Creek as a city in 2006 the area had attracted many fortune 500 companies. Now as a city of 84,000 people it houses thousands of corporate employees of large companies like State Farm, Alcon and Kroger.
Johns Creek is also a cultural and recreational hub, hosting some of the highest number of restaurants, movie theaters and recreational centers per capita in the nation. The city also has metro Atlanta’s only part-time, fully professional symphony orchestra, the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra.
Schools in the area are some of the best in the nation. Three Johns Creek schools; Chattahoochee High School, River Trail Middle School, and Dolvin Elementary are National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence. Northview High School frequently boasts some of the highest SAT scores in the state of Georgia.
